Pressure cooker safety hazard precautions

Safety performance regulations

In order to ensure the quality of the pressure cooker, the state has implemented a licensing system for pressure cooker products, and in 1992 and 1994 respectively, a new aluminum pressure cooker and stainless steel pressure cooker were mandatory.

standard. These two national standards mainly stipulate the four major performances of nominal work pressure, safety pressure, damage pressure, opening and closing safety. In addition, the national standards also specify the sealing performance, anti-blocking safety and hygiene requirements of the pressure cooker.

Safety hazard considerations

1 Pressure control safety device: Automatically power off when the set pressure is exceeded during use.

2 Pressure relief safety device: When the pressure limit safety device fails to exceed the safety value, the pressure relief mechanism acts to automatically discharge the pressure inside the pot to ensure that no explosion accident will occur.

3 Pressure limiting safety device: When the pressure in the pot increases to the upper limit, the pressure limiting bleed valve automatically exhausts the pressure limit.

4 power-off memory protection device: When the power is off or the power cord is unplugged, and the new incoming call is made, or the power is connected, the setting function before the power-off can be automatically continued.

5 temperature-limiting safety device: When the temperature in the pot rises to the limit, the power is automatically cut off.

6 anti-blocking safety device: prevent food from clogging the exhaust valve to ensure that the exhaust valve is unobstructed.

7Open and close cover safety device: When the lid is not in place with the pot body, the air pressure in the pot cannot rise. When the gas pressure in the pan is higher than the safe value, the lid cannot be opened.

8 over-temperature safety device: When the boiler is empty or the temperature in the pot exceeds the set safety value, the power is automatically cut off.

How to prevent pressure cooker explosion

(1) Before use, carefully check whether the seat hole of the lid is unblocked, and whether the safety plug is intact.

(2) The food in the pot should not exceed 4/5 of the capacity. When the lid is closed, it must be screwed into the slot, and the upper and lower handles are aligned. When cooking, when the steam starts to drain from the air hole, the upper pressure valve is deducted.

(3) When heating to the pressure limiting valve to make a loud humming sound, immediately lower the temperature.

(4) If it is found that the safety plug is exhausted during cooking, it is necessary to replace the new fusible piece in time, and it is not possible to block the wire, cloth and other things.

Pressure cooker instructions

(1) Before each use, carefully check whether the venting port of the pressure limiting valve is unobstructed (can be cleared by a toothpick), and keep the anti-blocking cover clean.

(2) Do not pack too much food in the pot, generally should not exceed three-quarters of the height of the pot. For foods that are more easily swelled (such as kelp, mung beans, corn, etc.), should not exceed half of the body.

(3) When closing the cover, the cover mark of the lid and the body should be fully engaged. Just in place, don't overpower your head too much

(4) After heating the cover, see the upper limit pressure valve cover when there is more steam discharged from the pressure limiting exhaust hole

(5) When the pressure limiting valve is working, reduce the small firepower and keep the pressure valve to move slightly.

(6) Before the cover is opened, the pressure must be completely reduced, that is, the valve plug of the protection device is lowered and reset before the cover can be opened. Do not force the handle

(7) The general pressure cooker specifies a safe service life of not more than eight years.

Tungsten Electrode is the main purpose of manufacturing filament and high-speed cutting alloy steel,  also for optical instruments, chemical instruments and other aspects in industry. Tungsten electrodes are used when arc welding with the Tungsten Inert gas (TIG) process or when plasma welding. In both processes the electrode, arc and weld pool are protected from atmospheric contamination by an inert gas. A tungsten electrode is used because it can withstand very high temperatures with minimal melting or erosion. Electrodes are made by powder metallurgy and are formed to size after sintering.
