Modification of the anti-error function of the suspended spot welder

In the automobile production line, the hanging spot welding machine has become the main equipment of the welding shop, and it has many types, functions and uses. However, the hanging spot welder also has the disadvantages of low mechanization and high mis-welding rate. In order to improve work efficiency and welding quality, our technicians have taken some improvement measures to compensate for the design deficiencies for different types of hanging spot welders and welding stations, thus ensuring the quality of the products.

1. Proposal and cause analysis

In the side line production line of the welding shop, there is a part nut and nut bracket. When welding, there is a problem that the “clamp jaw clamp is not in place”, that is, the positioning is not accurate or misplaced, sometimes the parts are scrapped (see Figure 1). ). During the operation, the operator can not judge whether the clamp jaws are in place from the technical point of view. Therefore, it is hoped that the fixture clamps the clamp jaws in place and then welds to ensure that the weld is 100% qualified.

The fixture structure for producing the part is shown in Figure 2. The fixture is a manual jaw to achieve the positioning of the part.
