1. Aluminum extrusion die:
The company's mold size φ100mm ~ Φ730mm use material 45Cr5MoV1Si that is (H13) some complex section molds use Germany TS2344, Sweden 8407 hardness requirements HRC48-52, quenching finishing after soft nitriding, layer depth 0.08-0.12mm. It can be repeatedly nitrided several times after the wear is used. The steel is characterized by quenching that must be tempered twice within 6 hours. After the first tempering, it must be cooled to room temperature (sometimes oil-cooled) to temper a second time. Vacuum, salt bath and gas protection heating are available depending on the degree of complexity and size. A third tempering can be performed for particularly harsh conditions.
2. Cold work mold:
(1) stretching die (mainly stretching die)
Material selection Crl2, hardness HRC62-64, quenching temperature selection 980 ° C, tempering temperature 180-220 ° C, this kind of mold is mainly required high hardness, high wear resistance, minimal cracking, can be tempered again.

This kind of mold uses Crl2MoV, sometimes Crl2, larger than the size Φ40mm section should choose forgings, but in recent years, the market generally supplies rolled sheet, it is easy to use, but its eutectic carbide segregation is large, and the annealing quality is sometimes poor; Its eutectic carbide segregation tends to be 4-6 (should be strictly controlled at 3-4), so sometimes it is caused by the nameless crack after normal heat treatment.
1) High hardness required mold (HRC60-62) is generally high-speed progressive die, often used Crl2MoV, SKD11, DC53, the mold quenching temperature should be selected upper limit 1015-1020 ° C, to 20 seconds / mm, the holding time should be sufficient When quenching, it should be fully pre-cooled. If the shape is complicated, it can be cooled by nitrate salt. The tempering must be tempered twice at 60°C for the first time. The mold should be cooled to room temperature during the second tempering. After the mold is quenched and oiled, it must be checked whether the bending degree is out of tolerance. If the over-differential should be immediately pressed by the hydraulic press or tempered after using the clamping plate, it will not be flattened after tempering and must be reworked. The tempering temperature is 200 °C.
