Yangzhou Establishes Environmental Video Surveillance System

On April 1st, the environmental video surveillance system of Yangzhou City was officially completed. This is the key project of the “Smart and Environmental Protection” project in the construction of the “Smart City” in Yangzhou, and it is also part of the Jiangsu Provincial Eco-environmental Monitoring System. The project installs a video surveillance system on key environmental monitoring targets and monitoring sites in Yangzhou City, and integrates with back-office business systems. This effectively enhances the environmental supervision capabilities and becomes the “wining eyes and ears” of environmental supervision and management.

According to reports, 266 monitoring probes were installed in 114 units in Yangzhou, covering drinking water sources at and above the county level in Yangzhou, key pollution sources at national and provincial levels, and solid waste treatment plants.
