We used the revolutionary top on the CW6163A lathe. When working on a 0.6t heavy spindle, the machining accuracy has a round trip tolerance of ±1.5μm. The top structure is shown in the figure. A total of 5 sets of bearings are installed at the top, bearing 6 is used to support axial thrust, bearing 4 is subjected to radial load, and bearings 8, 10 are used to hold the top tail.
