WDG extrusion granulation method

Currently, there are two types of granulation equipment that can meet the technological requirements of the extrusion WG formula: one is basket extrusion granulation, and the other is screw extrusion granulation. The former can adapt to the granulation of many types of pesticides. The disadvantage is that the current domestic single-machine specifications are too small, and it is difficult to achieve single-machine linkage of the entire production process. Another disadvantage is that the exposed space of the material, especially in the hot season, can cause excessive evaporation of water. Whether or not the water is sprayed on the scene is a major risk affecting product quality.

Relative isolation is recommended to reduce space. Another granulation process is screw extrusion. In this method, the output of a single machine is larger, and the production capacity is also more, so that a single machine linkage and continuous production of a production line can be realized. The problem is that most of the domestically-made machines are designed for plastics processing and do not match the diversification of the material properties of the pesticide WG. Therefore, it is used for extrusion granulation of soft materials such as extrusion granulation of glycyrrhizinate salt WSG. Selecting screw extrusion granulation for materials with higher hardness will significantly reduce the dispersibility and disintegration performance of the product. For moderate strength and good disintegration of the WG, head pressure matching during extrusion is critical. At present, the pressure on domestically produced equipment is not configurable and is not shown, and it is urgent to innovate. Reminding pesticide companies, the selection of granulation processes and the selection of equipment are closely related to disintegration performance.
