CLP-48 into the Middle East

Installing photovoltaic modules on the roof can create a small-scale solar photovoltaic power generation system that can meet the electricity needs of the interior of the building. Recently, CLP-48 has signed a cooperation agreement with a comprehensive construction company in Qatar, planning to build a 21.6 kW EPC demonstration project for off-grid rooftop PV systems in the country, which marks the start of the new energy terminal market in the Middle East.

Off-grid photovoltaic power generation systems are widely used in the harsh environment of the plateau, islands, remote mountainous areas and field operations, but also can be used as power supply for communication base stations, advertising light boxes, street lamps and so on. This means that the roof, which originally appeared to be ordinary, will be transformed into a "golden roof" after installation of photovoltaic power generation equipment. As one of the top ten photovoltaic equipment manufacturers in the world, China Light & Power Group 48 focuses on the R&D, production and sales of photovoltaic equipment and photovoltaic products. This cooperation further expands the power plant business in the region where CLP Power is located.

It is reported that in order to support the development of the photovoltaic industry, the country is actively implementing the "Golden Sun Project" and "Golden Roof" demonstration projects, and some photovoltaic companies' sales are showing signs of recovery, which will also promote a new round of development of the domestic photovoltaic industry.
