Scientists at French solar company Dracula Technologies have developed a LAYER technology called Light As Your Energy Response. In essence, LAYER is a thin, flexible solar cell that can be manufactured using an inkjet printer.
These cost-effective, foldable sheets are made from a unique electrically conductive plastic that is capable of extracting energy from solar and artificial light, making this technology more versatile than many previous technologies.
