Through this method, it is possible to successfully compare tightly-bound nuclei, weakly-bound nuclei, and halo nuclei directly, making the quarter-corner angle a sensitive probe for studying the differences between tightly bound nuclei, weakly bound nuclei, and halo nuclei during nuclear reactions.
Heavy ion elastic scattering is one of the key issues in nuclear reaction research. In recent years, with the development of radioactive beam lines, more and more abundant neutron nuclei/rich proton nuclei have been selected as elastically-scattered shells, and studies on the elastic scattering of radioactive nuclei can also examine a large number of theoretical models. .
Through the comparison of theoretical values ​​and experimental values ​​of a large number of tightly bound nuclei, weakly bound nuclei, and halo nuclei, the researchers found that there is a certain difference between the theoretical value and the experimental value of the quarter angle. By introducing a reduction method, it is possible to directly compare the quarter angles of different missile systems. The reduction method study found that for tightly confined nuclei, the difference between theoretical and experimental values ​​of the quarter angle is the smallest; for halo nuclei, the theoretical value of the quarter angle is most different from the experimental value. The difference between the experimental value and the theoretical value is caused by the coupling tract effect.
