In 2009, a customer in Tanggu ordered our PN sand pump. The customer originally selected the model: 400PN-26, the rated flow rate was 2200 cubic meters per hour, and the suction pump lifted 26 meters. In actual use, it was found that the mud was extracted. The sand concentration is high, the transport distance is far, the pipeline water is getting less and less, and the sediment is seriously deposited in the pipeline.
After analysis by technicians, it is found that this is due to the insufficient head of the pump during the selection process of the suction pump, because the impeller diameter of the pump is not very large, and the lift is less than 26 meters in actual use. The road loss is large, and the flow rate of the sediment in the pipeline is reduced, causing clogging.
In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to replace the sand suction pump with 350PN-31, the flow rate is 1800 cubic meters per hour, and the head is 31 meters. During the transportation process, the actual flow velocity in the pipeline is about 1400 cubic meters.
After re-selection, the two pump types are compared, and the suction pump lift is increased from the original 26 meters to the current 31 meters. At this time, the flow rate of the pipe is greatly increased, and when the actual flow rate is higher than the sedimentation speed of the solid matter in the pipe, the phenomenon of pipe siltation can be avoided. The suction pump has a maximum transport distance of 4 kilometers and a service life of up to 1 million square meters.
