Urgent need to solve the large number of hidden dangers in CBD high-rise buildings

Yesterday, the Beijing Fire Department combined with the Public Security Bureau, the Fire Brigade, the CBD Management Committee, the District Construction Committee, the police station, and the CBD regional group defense group formed a total of more than 500 hardcore groups with more than 500 people. They focused on the investigation of fire hazards in the CBD area. A total of more than 260 high-rise buildings were inspected during the operation, and more than 580 fire hazards were discovered. More than 500 fire hazards were ordered to be rectified on the spot, and more than 80 fire hazards were ordered to be corrected within a time limit.

In recent years, a large number of high-rise buildings in the CBD have risen and illegal constructions have spawned, resulting in a large number of fire hazards. Currently there are more than 1,500 high-rise buildings in the CDB area, including more than 20 high-rise buildings. The number of high-rise buildings in the CBD area accounts for about one-third of the total number of the district, and the number of high-rise buildings accounts for about one-half of the total number of district-wide buildings.

The remediation mainly focused on high-rise buildings in the CBD. At the same time, complex buildings that integrate business, office, residence, hotels, exhibitions, catering, conferences, entertainment, and transportation have emerged as the times require, and the number is increasing. This is also the focus of this inspection and rectification.

The problems found during the inspection were mainly concentrated on the following aspects: The responsibilities of the fire control room staff on duty were unclear, and the fire emergency treatment procedures were not mastered; the outdoor fire truck channel line and the warning line dedicated to the operation of the ladder truck were not applied; some emergency lighting Lights and evacuation signs are damaged; tables and chairs, sofas, and green plants occupy evacuation passages to block safety exits; kitchen oil fumes are not cleared in time or fail to provide oil flue cleaning certification materials; flammable debris, etc. have not been cleared in time.
