The instructor is Professor Chen Xun, the director of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Laboratory at John Moores University. His laboratory has a world-class manufacturing technology research facility and enjoys a high international reputation for efficient and precise intelligent processing, especially for grinding. In the course of teaching, Prof. Chen Xun focused on the application of advanced simulation and artificial intelligence optimization technology in the industry. From the theoretical and technical analysis aspects, some grinding phenomena in actual machining process were analyzed. Professor Chen Xun also made a serious answer to the technical questions raised by the participants, which benefited everyone.

After the special technical lectures, Professor Chen Xun held technical talks with relevant personnel of Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute and Baige Company respectively, and conducted guidance and exchanges on the problems encountered in the current enterprise R&D and production, such as the strength of the grinding wheel and the grinding wheel.
