Japan Light Metal Company pushes aluminum rack new products

Nippon Light Metal Corporation announced on September 12 that it has introduced a new product called "Alsolmega," a solar panel stand suitable for installation on slopes. Can be set on undulating slopes, and said that because of lighter weight, it can be easily set where heavy equipment can't enter.

The previous “Alsolmega” solar panel racks are used on flat ground and have accumulated more than 100MW. It is said that it takes full advantage of the properties of aluminum and is characterized by relatively light weight and excellent weatherability. Because the unit was built in advance at the factory, there is also the advantage of improving the work efficiency at the construction site. According to the environmental conditions in the construction area and the customer-specified conditions, the structural calculations can be performed according to the project, and the related cost plans for the optimization design can be proposed.

The new product has been improved on the basis of the original “Alsolmega” to meet the demand for ramped photovoltaic power generation systems and megawatt photovoltaic power plants. As with the flat land model, the new product also adopts the unit construction method, so the construction period can be shortened. In terms of sales price, it is about 20% lower than the original product. The future will be combined with the flatland models to meet the needs of customers.

In addition to the Japanese light metals, the sales company also includes NLM ECAL, Sumiyoshi Corporation, Nippon Genko ACT, Nippon Light Industry, Riguang Profile, and Riken Light Metal Industry.

Hub Bearing

What is a Wheel Bearing?

A wheel bearing is a set of steel balls held together in a metal ring, called a race. At the center of your wheels, there is a hollow piece of metal, called a hub. The wheel bearings fit tightly inside this hub, and ride on a metal axle shaft, helping reduce friction when the wheel spins.

These are different from the engine bearings, as there is no constant source of lubrication for the wheel bearings, which means they need to be tight enough to keep away water and road dust. They also support the entire vehicle weight while driving, which is why they suffer a lot of abuse from rough roads, potholes, as well as lateral forces when turning.
