This situation has also been reversed.

There are still many difficulties in the development of photovoltaics, the external export environment has not been fundamentally improved, domestic distributed photovoltaics have been slow to promote, and the problem of network difficulties has existed to varying degrees. However, the photovoltaic industry’s policy environment has gradually improved, and under the “new normal” that China’s economic development has relied more on domestic consumer demand, the development target for expanding the domestic application market has also been made clear. By 2020, photovoltaic installations will be clearly established. Will reach 100 million kilowatts. All localities and relevant organizations must ensure that favorable policies are in place. The photovoltaic industry must have firm confidence, commit itself to technological progress and coordinated industrial development, innovate development models, and make greater contributions to increasing the proportion of clean energy and promoting energy efficiency. The dependence on foreign markets of the three raw materials, key technical equipment, and market demand has become a grim reality in China's photovoltaic industry.

This year, under the strong promotion of the National Energy Administration, photovoltaic development has achieved good results. In the first three quarters, China's newly-added PV grid-connected capacity reached 3.79 million kilowatts, of which, the grid-connected capacity of new photovoltaic power plants was 2.45 million kilowatts, and the newly-added distributed grid-connected photovoltaic capacity was 1.34 million kilowatts; For 18 billion kwh, it is equivalent to 200% in 2013. The signs of the recovery of the photovoltaic industry are already evident, and the ability to resist external risks is also strengthening. While driving the development of distributed PV, it also serves the multiple effects of serving the people's livelihood and promoting the harmonious development of the economy and society.

The biggest problem facing China's photovoltaic industry is its lack of innovation. It includes not only the acceptance of various PV technology pathways, but also the innovative power to apply PV in more areas.
