Brief analysis of the seven categories of air-conditioning aluminum foil

Air conditioning is essential for summer vacations. As air conditioners enter thousands of households, they are constantly evolving. At present, air conditioners are gradually developing in the direction of miniaturization, high efficiency and long life. The air conditioning heat exchange sheet is also developed in the direction of ultra-thin and high strength. In the 1980s, the heat exchange sheet thickness was 0.15-0.2 ram, and today's thickness is only between 0.09 and 0.15 mm. In order to improve the life of the air conditioner, reduce the power consumption, improve the ventilation quality and improve the cooling effect, a variety of hot films are produced. Air-conditioning aluminum foil can be divided into 7 categories according to its processing technology and performance characteristics:

1, non-coated aluminum foil

Uncoated aluminum foil refers to an aluminum foil that has been subjected to rolling annealing without any surface treatment. In China 10 years ago, the aluminum foil used for air conditioning heat exchange sheets about 15 years ago was uncoated aluminum foil. Even at present, about 50% of the heat transfer sheets used in developed countries are still uncoated aluminum foil, while in China, this ratio is around 60%.

2, coated aluminum foil

The so-called coated aluminum foil is the surface re-treatment of the uncoated aluminum foil to give it a special function. In countries with rapid technological development such as Japan and Germany, coated aluminum foil has been used for more than 15 years. In China, the time to use coated aluminum foil is no more than 10 years.

3, corrosion-resistant aluminum foil

The surface of the corrosion-resistant aluminum foil product has a certain corrosion-resistant protective layer. The air-conditioning heat exchange sheet made of the product can be applied to a relatively harsh area, and the service life of the air conditioner can be significantly improved. At the same time, due to the improvement of the corrosion resistance of the heat exchange sheet, the formation of surface corrosion powder is greatly reduced, thereby improving the ventilation quality and purifying the air in the air conditioning room.

4, hydrophilic aluminum foil

The surface of the hydrophilic aluminum foil has strong hydrophilicity. The hydrophilic properties are determined by the angle formed by the water sticking to the surface of the aluminum foil. The smaller the a angle, the better the hydrophilic property, and vice versa, the poorer the hydrophilic property. In general, the a angle is less than 35. It is a hydrophilic property. Hydrophilic aluminum foil is generally used on the condenser of an air conditioner. Its main function is to make the moisture in the hot air easy to spread out when it condenses into water droplets on the heat exchange sheet and flow down the sheet. In this way, the ventilation effect of the heat exchanger can be avoided due to the “bridge” of the water droplets between the heat exchange sheets, thereby improving the heat exchange rate of the air conditioner, and saving energy under the condition of the same cooling capacity. At present, the general hydrophilic aluminum foil on the market has better hydrophilicity in addition to the surface, and also has high corrosion resistance, thereby optimizing the performance of the air conditioner.

5, hydrophobic aluminum foil

Hydrophobic aluminum foil, also known as water repellent aluminum foil, has the same surface properties as hydrophilic aluminum foil. That is, when the condensed water condenses on the surface of the aluminum foil, the contact angle with the aluminum foil is large, generally at 75. the above. The larger the angle, the better the water repellency. The ultimate goal of using hydrophobic aluminum foil is the same as that of hydrophilic aluminum foil, that is, condensed water is not allowed to remain between the heat exchange sheets. The difference is that the hydrophobic aluminum foil is formed by increasing the contact angle between the condensed water and the heat exchange sheet, so that the condensed water forms a water droplet which is easy to slide, thereby achieving the purpose of removing the condensed water between the heat exchange sheets.

6, self-lubricating aluminum foil

In the process of manufacturing air-conditioning heat exchange sheets, it is generally necessary to first add lubricating oil to the surface, then punch the edges, and finally wash the lubricating oil with trichloroethylene. Since trichloroethylene is harmful to the human body, in order to reduce this process, a self-lubricating aluminum foil is produced accordingly. Self-lubricating aluminum foil, as its name implies, does not require separate lubrication when it is processed. The lubrication during the stamping process is carried out by a pre-treated film on the surface of the aluminum foil. Since no special lubrication is required, the subsequent trichloroethylene cleaning and drying process is eliminated.

7, mildew-proof aluminum foil

The mildew-proof aluminum foil is mainly used for the indoor unit of the empty, and its main function is to prevent the surface of the heat exchange sheet from being moldy due to the long time of use or standing, thereby obviously improving the ventilation quality of the air and preventing the abnormal smell, effectively Improve the environment in the air-conditioned room.
