Common defects in the heat treatment process (quenching and tempering) of the trolley furnace: corrosion
Causes of corrosion defects:
1. The salt bath contains too much impurities such as Na2SO4, HCl, etc. The salt bath is mixed with nitrate salt, which decomposes the atomic oxygen and acts with the cutter to produce pitting. There is corrosive medium in the salt bath surface. Oxidation in the air 5. Quenching residual salt is not removed or residual salt deliquescence 6. Salt bath deoxidation is not complete 7. Pickling time is too long or pickling ear is too high
Corrosion prevention measures:
1. Strictly control the purity of the acid used for quenching and tempering heating salt and pickling solution to prevent impurities from mixing into the mixture. Tool cleaning should be clean or sandblasted. Diligently calibrating the slag KOH with a mass fraction of 2% to 4% can be added to the salt bath
Corrosion defect treatment method:
1. Corrosion slight tool pockets can be worn away. Corrosion of non-working parts, can be treated as defective products. Tooth cutters are corroded in the teeth and are generally disposed of as waste.
